Boarding Australia is proud to offer small grants to members (it’s not too late to become a member, click here for membership information).

The Student Retention and Wellbeing Grant aims to support students in extra-curricular activities or to improve their wellbeing, to enhance their engagement and retention in school. Amounts of up to $500 are available.

This may be for the following:

  • Sport or music equipment;
  • Art supplies;
  • Specialist tuition (e.g. an art, drama or dance program);
  • Programs or services that focus on the wellbeing of students;
  • Development of cultural or community activities (e.g. connecting students from specific regions, community service activities).

The Transport / Charter Grant, in partnership with Greyhound Australia, enables Boarding Australia members to share in $5,000 worth of services to assist with the cost of transport to excursions, camps or sporting / cultural events. The value will usually be allocated in amounts of $1,000 per successful organisation.
